Uncle Art always made us smile. He was such a warm and pleasant man and knew how to have fun. He will be in our prayers along with the family. You were so fortunate to have spent many of his 91 years with him. God bless you all.
Arthur A. Mozzoni, age 91, passed away peacefully April 9, 2018 at his home at Fair Acres. Born and educated in Chester, Arthur lived in Brookhaven, West Grove, and Lutheran Knolls in Boothwyn. Arthur worked as a meat cutter for Peter’s Market in Chester for 40 years. In 1985 Arthur purchased the business and was owner and operator until his retirement in 1989. Arthur loved to vacation at the Jersey shore and Maryland beaches where he enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He and his wife Dorothy went on several cruises together. Arthur was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved spending time with his family and friends. Arthur was an Army veteran serving during the World War II European Conflict and a former member of Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven.
He is predeceased by his parents Luigi and Anna Mozzoni, his loving wife of 70 years Dorothy, who passed in 2016, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
SURVIVORS: his beloved children: Arthur Mozzoni, Jr., Jeanne Harlon, Ralph Mozzoni, Nancy Murray, and Daniel Mozzoni; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
VISITATION: Friday from 2:00-3:15 pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday at 3:30 pm at the funeral home. BURIAL: Private.
