P.S. Two weeks ago, I bought the cross you asked me for when you told me you lost the first one I gave you. I was going to give it to you for your birthday, but of course you were off the grid. I will never again wait for a special occasion to give that perfect present. I should have called you the minute I found it. It was perfect and you would have loved it.

I hope you know how much I loved you. You were like one of my own. I pray you are in the arms of the Father and have finally found peace.
