I first found out about Birthe's passing by reading it in the Danish Sisterhood newsletter. My condolences to the family. I knew Birthe before she and George got married; we were both young Danish girls in Philadelphia. I did visit Birthe in 2004 and some time later. She was a wonderful person for sure.

My prayers for Bea’s family. I worked with Bea at Haverford and we met up later at thr Bridge club. She always had a smile and a good word. She will be missed.
