Carolyn Watson, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2020.
She graduated from Pittsville High School in 1963. Carolyn loved to spend time with Bill. They would travel, sometimes by motorcycle, dance, and have adventures. She was a loving mom who was always there for her children. Gram was a proud grandmother who loved telling everyone about her grandchildren while showing their photos to her friends. Carolyn loved to spend time with her friends eating dinner on Friday nights, traveling to Maryland to visit her mom or the beach, and shopping. She was an active member of Resurrection Episcopal Church and enjoyed helping her community and giving back. Carolyn was such a hard worker and always got the job done, whether it be for her family or for work. She was a store manager of Burger King, Wawa, and Carvel Ice Cream. Carolyn was known for giving out happy day gifts, or random gifts simply to make your day happy.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her father Roland Coffin, her stepfather Chester Bunting, her brother Bob Coffin, and her children’s father Jack Watson.
Survivors: Her loving partner of 33 years: Bill Hagan; Mother: Hilda Bunting; Brothers: Don Coffin (Maggie), Randall Coffin, and Bruce Coffin; Children: Sonya Hendricks (Bruce) and Shawn Watson (Andrea); Grandchildren: Johnathan, Jillian, Julianna, and Jake; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
