Henry Iwanowski, age 93, a longtime resident of North Arlington, NJ and Smithsville, NJ, passed away on October 1, 2018 at his home in Glen Mills, PA. Henry was raised in Newark, NJ and was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington, NJ. He was employed as a draftsman at Worthington Pump in Harrison, NJ.  Henry proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Chief of the North Arlington Fire Dept.

He was the son of late Stanley and Bertha Iwanowski and father to the late Joanne Iwanowski.

Henry’s greatest joy was his nearly 71 year marriage to his wife Anna.

SURVIVORS: His wife: Anna (Tabak) Iwanowski; children: Rev. Thomas Iwanowski, Robert (Joan) Iwanowski, Raymond (Donna) Iwanowski, Henry Michael (Gloria) Iwanowski, and Mary Ann (Jerry) Sheridan; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

VISITATION: Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA.

FUNERAL MASS: Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA.

COMMITTAL SERVICE & BURIAL: Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Service in Mausoleum Chapel.
