Robert J. Turk, Sr. Feb 27, 1933 - Jun 07, 2018
Robert J. Turk, Sr., age 85, of Boothwyn, passed away on June 7, 2018. He was born and raised in Chester, PA and was a graduate of Chester High School. Robert had worked for Abbotts Dairy and Witco Chemical. He was a member of VFW Post # 5546 in Trainer, coached youth baseball in the Chester West Little League, and various other youth baseball and football leagues in the community. He also enjoyed Senior Bowling at Conchester Lanes. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna Turk. Robert was predeceased in 2010 by his loving wife of 52 years, Doris M. Turk (DiMeglio). He was the brother of the late James Turk, Theresa Quinn, and Rita McLaughlin.
SURVIVORS: his loving children: Linda Neborak (Ken), Robert J. Turk, Jr., and Sharon Turk-Ross (Dave); his dear companion: Joan Myers; grandchildren: Nick Neborak (Megan), Stefanie DiStefano (Michael), Michael Neborak, and David Ross; and great grandchildren: Nathan and Noah Neborak. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Wednesday, June 20th from 10:00-11:15 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, June 20th at 11:30 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. BURIAL: Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
