Linda Della Rocca Obituary

Linda Della Rocca, age 70, passed away on March 23, 2024, in Philadelphia, PA. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Linda began her educational journey at South Philadelphia High School before graduating from Ridley High School in 1970. She then went on to study at Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science.

Throughout her life, Linda remained a devoted resident of Philadelphia, deeply rooted in the vibrant energy of the city she called home. Despite brief ventures elsewhere in her early years, her heart always drew her back to Philadelphia. As a fashion and image consultant, Linda's passion for the arts knew no bounds. She possessed a keen appreciation for various forms of artistic expression, finding joy in singing, quilting, crafting jewelry, and dressing in the height of fashion. Linda was renowned to be a remarkable dancer as well. One of Linda's proudest achievements, among many, was her 36+ years of sobriety, a testament to her strength and determination. She embraced a life of clarity and purpose, inspiring all who knew her.

Linda's affection extended beyond the realm of human connections to her cherished feline companions, Milo and Spanky. She found immense joy in their company and showered them with love and affection.

Above all, Linda cherished the time spent with her beloved siblings and friends, who brought light and laughter into her life. Their bond was a source of strength and comfort throughout her journey.

She is the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia Della Rocco, and is preceded in death by her brother: Frank Della Rocco (2022), her nephew: Frank Della Rocco Jr., her niece: Laura Della Rocco, and her beloved cat Milo.

Survivors: Her loving siblings: Nancy Curtis (Jim), Kathy Bartow (Ken), and John Della Rocco, Sr. (Sonia), her nieces and nephews: Brandon and Steven Curtis, Samantha and Kenny Bartow, Justin Della Rocco, John Della Rocco, Jr., and her beloved cat, Spanky
